Our area is located in the Emerald Coast Region of Northwest Florida just across Choctawhatchee Bay from the beautiful beaches of Destin, Okaloosa Island and South Walton. Additionally, our area offers a relaxing lifestyle and thriving business community.

Nestled south of Interstate 10, the City of Crestview and part of the Eglin Air Force Base Reservation, we balance peaceful residential living with thriving commercial businesses. The Choctawhatchee Bay, Boggy Bayou, Tom’s Bayou, Shirks Bayou and other waterways provide a true boating and fishing paradise. Only minutes from Destin’s East Pass and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, many choose to utilize one of our local marinas for their boating needs.

Our local business community is diverse including retail, defense contractors, real estate sales and development and many other thriving sectors. Our educational system is among the best in the state and we are home to Northwest Florida State College, formerly Okaloosa Walton College.

Our military neighbors, Eglin Air Force Base, Duke Field and Hurlburt Field are important to our community and the Chamber joins the community in supporting their mission as they defend our freedom as Americans.
